A Lewisville controller is wrong when it waters on the neighbor’s days, skips the assigned days, or runs at noon in July. The program is the repair as often as the clock itself.
Days by address
On the city’s published two-day pattern, even-numbered addresses (ending 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8) and lots with no street number water Tuesday and Saturday. Odd addresses (ending 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9) water Wednesday and Sunday. Commercial, multifamily, and HOA properties water Monday and Thursday. From May 1 through September 30, automatic irrigation and hose-end sprinklers stay off from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hand watering and soaker hoses are not under that daytime ban. A drip zone on the controller is automatic irrigation and follows the same days and hours.
The city publishes the stage that is in effect on its outdoor watering page. We set the clock to the days that page lists and leave them written down. We do not tell you the city is locked on one stage. Flower Mound, Highland Village, The Colony, and Coppell post their own rules. A clock programmed for Lewisville is wrong the moment the yard is across the city line.
When the clock itself failed
A blank display, a station that never starts, or a transformer that is hot and dead is a hardware visit. The solenoid at the valve is checked before a new controller is sold. One dead station is often a valve or a wire, which is valve repair.
City enforcement, including the line published for watering complaints and the OurLewisvilleTX app, belongs to the city. It is not this desk. To schedule the repair, call (940) 239-0007.
